Last week was red ribbon week and we celebrated it at Lowell! Monday was a door decorating contest and each class came up with their own theme. My class decided to tell why they "say no to drugs". I took a picture of each student saying no with a gesture. That was tricky because a lot of students wanted to do a moving gesture. It didn't work with a still camera. However, the door is aDOORable! haha! Students also wrote on a speech bubble why they say no to drugs. There were so many reasons! I will try to get a picture up of our door.
We also had the police k-9 unit at our school for an assembly, we formed a star on the playground and took an ariel shot, and we celebrated crazy hair day and hat day. Fun stuff!
